Oak Island is for Sale
The Island with the Mysterious money pit is for sale for $7 million. For over 200 years, people have tried to find treasure at the bottom of the pit, but no one has been successful. Investors have spent millions trying to uncover what might be buried under layers of planks, stone slabs and even coconut fibers. There is even a complex flooding trap that has twarted excavators.
In December of 2003, Dan Blankenship, one of the current owners said that he would announce some new, exciting findings in the following months. He never did however. What if he found something and is selling off the island now that it's treasure has been claimed?
