Who needs gas?

Let's just run our cars on Water.

I'm pretty sceptical about this, and kept expecting to find it on Snopes, but nothing so far.

Firefox popups

A lot of you might be using Firefox and if you aren't, I recommend it over Explorer. It does a nice job of blocking popups on its own, but lately, some people figured out that they could launch popups using Flash and get around the popup blocker.

Well, here is how to block that as well.

1. Type about:config into the Firefox location bar.
2. Right-click on the page and select New and then Integer.
3. Name it privacy.popups.disable_from_plugins
4. Set the value to 2.

The possible values are:

* 0: Allow all popups from plugins.
* 1: Allow popups, but limit them to dom.popup_maximum.
* 2: Block popups from plugins.
* 3: Block popups from plugins, even on whitelisted sites.

SketchUp

SketchUp

Google SketchUp is an easy-to-learn 3D modeling program that enables you to explore the world in 3D. With just a few simple tools, you can create 3D models of houses, sheds, decks, home additions, woodworking projects - even space ships. And once you've built your models, you can place them in Google Earth, post them to the 3D Warehouse, or print hard copies.

There is a professional version as well which costs $495.
